Team Iran heads to Kobe for the 2024 Para Athletics World Championships.
Iran NPC, Tehran: Preparing for Paris 2024 Paralympic
Games, a total of 17 Iranian Para athletes, left Tehran for Kobe (on 14 May) to
take part in the Para Athletics World Championships.
Team Iran’s rooster for events:

Mokhtari, Aliasghar Javanmardi, Hashemiyeh Motaghian, Elham Salehi, Sadegh Beit
Sayah, Zeinab Moradi, Hadi Kaeidi, Hamed Amiri, Saeid Afrooz, Hajar Safarzadeh,
Sajad Nikparast, Mahdi Olad, Saman Pakbaz, Ali Pirouj, Amir Hossein Alipour.
Team Melli is under the lead of team
manager Aliasghar Hadizadeh, assisted by national coaches including Seyed Mahdi
Shahrokhi, Ebrahim Momeni, Ezatollah Parnian, Zahra Karamzadeh, Khosro Rahimizadeh,
Mahdi Farsi, Mostafa Bahrami, Mohsen Pakbaz and Alireza Mehr Safovati.
The 11th edition of the Para
Athletics World Championships will be held in in Kobe, Japan from 17 to 25 May
2024. As many as 1073 athletes from 104 nations will in action at the Kobe
Universiade Memorial Stadium for the Worlds glory, just three months before the
Paris 2024 Paralympics
The two tops athletes of each medal
event will claim Paralympic berths.
