International Volleyball Hall of Fame announced the induction class of 2024, on 20 May.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran: Head Coach Hadi Rezaei has been announced as one of the distinguished inductees into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame (IVHF) Class of 2024.

Rezaei, as the most decorated coach in the history of sitting volleyball, is the first Iranian inducted into the IVHF.
As a player, coach, administrator and leader, he has consistently exemplified excellence and dedication.
Iran's men head coach has been collected 21 golds, three silvers and two bronzes at major competitions over the years of his sitting volleyball journey.

 

The class includes nine members who were at the top of the game in their respective category, setting the standard and making history en route to being honored with this prestigious recognition.
Five of these inductees were also top in the record-setting fan vote for this class.

 

The 38th IVHF Induction class includes the following members:
Ana Paula Henkel (Brazil, Female Beach Player), Tim Hovland (United States, Male Beach Player), Regla Bell (Cuba, Female Indoor Player), Andrea Zorzi (Italy, Male Indoor Player), Zé Roberto Guimarães (Brazil, Coach), Angel Pereyra (Argentina, Referee), Sue Lemaire (United States, Referee), Giuseppe Panini (Italy, Leader) and Iranian Hadi Rezaei, the most decorated coach in the history of sitting volleyball.

 

The induction ceremony, scheduled to take place in Holyoke, Massachusetts, USA on Oct. 19.
