Asia-Pacific champions Team Iran's men Goalball was drawn in group A alongside defending Paralympic champions Brazil, Americas title holders the USA and the hosts and European champions France.
Men’s and women’s teams were drawn for the 2024 Goalball at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy, today on 3 June.
Men’s Pool B also consists of World Championships silver medallists China, European champions Ukraine, African champions Egypt and IBSA World Games champions Japan.
Goalball at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will take place at the South Paris Arena, within Paris Expo, from 29 August – 5 September. Group stages are scheduled for 29 August – 1 September, followed by the knock-out stages from 2-4 September. The competition will reach its climax with the men’s and women’s medal matches on 5 September.
