The Deputy Minister of
Women’s Sports Dr. Maryam Kazemipour attended the national Para taekwondo
qualifier event in women’s division on Wednesday, 11 June 2024.
The other
dignitaries, including Iran NPC’s Deputy of Sport Dr. Saeid Solgi and the officials
from IRI Taekwondo Federation, were also present.
In
the women’s -52kg event, three national athletes including Aylar Jami, Zahra
Rahimi and Roza Ebrahimi fought for a spot on the plane to Paris 2024. Zahra Rahimi successfully qualified to represent
Team Iran at the upcoming Paralympic Games.
She has been crowned the most technical player of the 2024
Asian Para Taekwondo Championships in Da Nang, Vietnam on May 19th.
