Iran NPC, Tehran:
After achieving 14 colourful medals
and two Paralympics spots at Kobe 2024, Team Iran’s Para Athletics returns to
the action at the sixth round of national training camp, held in Mahallat County,
in Markazi Province, from June 18th to July 5th.
The camp roster features nine PI
athletes including:
Saeid Afrooz, Yasin Khosravi, Alireza
Mokhtari, Aliasghar Javanmardi, Hashemiyeh Motaghian, Amanollah Papi, Elham
Salehi, Sadegh Beit Sayah, Hamed Amiri.
Organized by I. R. Iran Sports
Federation for Enabled (IRISFE) in partnership with NPC, the camp is under the
lead of national Team Manager Aliasghar Hadizadeh, assisted by coaches Seyed
Mahdi Shahrokhi, Ezatollah Parnian, Morteza Nazemi, Fatemeh Barmshouri, Zahra
Karamzadeh, Mahdi Farsi and Khosro Rahimizadeh.
The camp offers focus on Para
athletes’ preparation at upcoming Paralympic Games.
Iranian PI Athletics team has already
secured 12 quota places for Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
