Iran NPC, Tehran:
Learning their fate at Paris 2024, National men's sitting volleyball team is to join the seventh round of Paris 2024 training sessions from Wednesday, which will consist of two successive camps in Iran and in the Netherlands.
Tehran's camp will run from June 26th to July 1st at the sitting volleyball hall of I.R. Iran Sports Federation for the Enabled (IRISFE) and the second phase will be held in the Netherlands, during a joint camp, from July 2 to 7, 2024.
Head coach Hadi Rezaei will lead the squad
at both training camps, assisted by coaches Amin Asghari, Hasan Mohammadi, Hadi
Sajedinia and Jalil Imeri.
The camp roster features 16 athletes including:
Sadegh Bigdeli, Hamidreza Abbasi, Mahdi Babadi, Majid
Lashgari, Ramezan Salehi, Morteza Mehrzad, Hossein Golestani, Seyed Mohammad
Hosseini, Mohammad Nemati, Jamal Nazari, Ghasem Eslami, Masoud Emami, Meisam
Alipour, Meisam Hajbabaei, Isa Zirahi, Davoud Alipourian.
Team Iran have been drawn along with
Brazil, Germany and Ukraine in Pool B of Paris 2024.
Iran men’s sitting volleyball team
has qualified for the upcoming Paralympic Games at the 2022 Sarajevo WPV World
Championships.
