Iran NPC, Tehran:
In recognition of Team Iran's second place at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Para Games (for the first time), National Post Company unveiled a stamp in the NPC gathering for national teams to be sent to Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, today (1 July).
The commemorative stamp featured a recent photo of Iran's three-time Paralympic champion Sareh Javanmardi, carrying her son on the podium for the victory ceremony of the Fourth Asian Para Games in Hangzhou.
Under the commemorative stamp the text details winning the second place at Hangzhou Asian Para Games, highlighting Team Iran's efforts.
Sarah Javanmardi was honored at the ceremony for her accomplishments and efforts in shooting para sports at National, World and Paralympics levels over the years. With the support of Iran National Paralympic Committee, Javanmardi was able to compete in Hangzhou with her family by her side.
Team Iran finished in second place at Hangzhou 2022, winning 44 gold
medals, 43 silvers and 40 bronzes.
China won the title with 214 gold medals, 167 silvers and
140 bronzes.
