Iran NPC, Tehran:
Team Iran Men’s Sitting Volleyball is
to commence the eighth round of national training camp in Tehran on Wednesday,
July 17, 2024.
The camp will be under the lead of
Head Coach Hadi Rezaei, assisted by coaches Amin Asghari, Hasan Mohammadi, Hadi
Sajedinia and Jalil Imeri.
The camp roster features 14 athletes including:
Sadegh Bigdeli, Hamidreza Abbasi, Mahdi Babadi, Majid
Lashgari, Ramezan Salehi, Morteza Mehrzad, Hossein Golestani, Mohammad Nemati,
Jamal Nazari, Masoud Emami, Meisam Alipour, Meisam Hajbabaei, Isa Zirahi,
Davoud Alipourian.
Iran men’s sitting volleyball team
has qualified for the upcoming Paralympic Games at the 2022 Sarajevo WPV World
Championships.
Team Iran have been drawn along with
Brazil, Germany and Ukraine in Pool B of Paris 2024. Men’s Pool A also consists
of France, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan.
Paris 2024 Sitting Volleyball competition
will take place between 29 August and 7 September at North Paris Arena.
