Iran NPC, Tehran:
The national Para Taekwondoins
commence their Pre-Games training camp, ahead of Paris 2024, from today, 23 July
at the I.R. Iran Taekwondo Federation (IRITF).
The camp roster in Women’s division includes:
Maryam Abdollahpour, Zahra Rahimi, Aylar
Jami, and Roza Ebrahimi.
Women’s training sessions run under
the lead of head coach Atefeh Keshavarz, and coaches Zahra Hosseini and Zahra
Hajivand.
Men's roster:
Saeid Sadeghianpour, Alireza Bakht, Hamed
Haghshenas, Mohammad Mahdi Govari, Alireza Nazari and Mohammad Moghadam.
Men’s team also train with head coach
Payam Khanlarkhani, joined by coach Ali Karimi Saber.
Team Iran will feature five Para
Taekwondoins at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
The squad, in its first Paralympics
appearance, claimed a gold and a silver medal at Tokyo 2020.
