Iran NPC, Tehran:
A total of 17 young fighters,
including nine men and eight women have been invited to the first round of the
national training camp from September 7, 2024.
Men's division:
Amir Joudi, Shahram Sahrapeyma, Sobhan Barkhor, Hossein
Neyzan Hosseini, Amirhossein Alizadeh, Mohammad Mahdi dahshidi, Amir Mohammad
Haghighatshenas, Abolfazl Imani and Mohammad Javad Hosseinian.
Women's division:
Zahra Rahimi, Narges Javadi, Aylar Jami, Rosa Ebrahimi,
Maryam Abdollahpour, Romina Chamsouraki, Mehraveh Domehri and Salehe
Mahdavi.
Women’s squad will be under the lead
of head coach Zahra Hosseini and coach Maryam Shabani, while the Men’s
Taekwondoins will be conducted by head coach Ali Karimi Saber and coach Mahdi
Pourrahnama.
Para Taekwondo will feature for the
second time in Asian Youth Para Games programme in Tashkent 2025 after its
successful debut in Bahrain 2021 Games.
Para Taekwondo has been announced as
one of the 10 sports to feature at the next edition of the Asian Youth Para
Games to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan during September- October 2025.
It will be the fifth edition of the
Asian Youth Para Games and is expected to witness participation of around 1000
athletes in 10 sports.
