The second Iranian men’s para powerlifting talent identification camp will bring 25 athletes in Tehran from November 10 to 20, 2024 as IRISFE reports.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran:

Working in partnership with the Iran National Paralympic Committee, IRI Sports Federation the Enabled's ten-day Para Powerlifting training camp will be held in Tehran from 10 November, with participation of four coaches, two staff, and 25 young athletes.
Head coach Gholamhossein Chaltouk Kar -assisted by the national coaches Mohammadreza Amini, Mansour Pourmirzaei and Seyed Habibollah Mousavi- will lead training sessions identifying potential national team players.

The camp is part of preparations for the 2025 Youth Asian Para Games.
Training sessions will be concluded on November 20th.
 The 5th Youth Asian Para Games will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan during September- October 2025. The event is expected to feature an estimated 1500 athletes from 45 NPCs will compete in ten sports.
