Iran NPC, Tehran:
Following the
inclusion of new Sport disciplines to Iran Paralympic sports program, the National
Paralympic Committee's officials and the IRI National Rowing Federation President
Mohsen Shadi held a joint meeting.
Iran NPC Women's
Vice-President Dr. Maryam Kazemipour along with the NPC's acting CEO Aliasghar
Hassanzadeh and Sport Deputy Dr. Saeid Solgi was also involved the meeting.
The inclusion of
Para Rowing, accessibility, providing the equipment, talent identification,
holding the national competitions and some other related issues were discussed at
the meeting, held in Iran NPC headquarters in Teran.
Iran National Paralympic Committee
(NPC) Governing Board has recently approved a proposal from four national
Federations to include Para climbing, Wheelchair Fencing, Para Rowing and Para
Equestrian into its sports program for the 2026 Asian Para Game and 2028
Paralympic Games.
