Iran NPC, Tehran:
Alireza Zakani, Mayor of Tehran, handed over cash awards to the 36 Iranian medallists
at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in the ceremony, held on Monday, 25 November, at the Qamar
Bani Hashem Sport Complex (Exclusive sports complex for people with
disabilities).
The Sport Organization of Tehran Municipality awarded 500 million
tomans to the Paris 2024 gold medallists. Iranian Silver medallists received 300
million tomans, with 200 million tomans on offer for bronze medallists. All 11
members of the Iran men’s national sitting volleyball team was each rewarded 300
million tomans for winning gold.

Alireza Zakani, Iran National Paralympic Committee President Ghafoor Karegary
along with the NPC's officials, Tehran Municipality Sports Organization Chief
Hossein Oujaqi, as well as Yezdikhah and Taqipour, the members of the City
Council, involved the ceremony.
Team Iran
competed in 10 sports at Paris 2024 Paralympics and finished 14 overall in the
medal standings, earning a total of 25 medals, including 16 golds.
