Iran NPC | Iran Hosts 3rd National Para Powerlifting TID Camp for Young Athletes

The men's para powerlifting talent identification camp has been launched in Tehran on Saturday.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran:

The third national Talent Identification camp for men's para powerlifting kicked off in Tehran December 22, 2024. This camp is part of preparations for the Iran national team ahead of the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games.

Staged by IRI Sports Federation for the Enabled in partnership with NPC Iran, this camp will run until December 30th at the IRISFE's National Training Center.

The invited athletes for this camp include:

Reza Hosseinvand, Reza Enayatollahi, Amir Ali Rashidi Mehr, Mohammad Karimnia, Abolfazl Shahabadi, Amir Abbas Sharifi, Hassan Mohammad Hosseinpour Jolodar, Mobin Mohammadi, Ahmadreza Ahmadi, Mehrshad Radmard, Alireza Asgari, Mani Saeidi, Alireza Sohrabi, Mohammad Taha Rizehvandi, Amir Ali Eshaghnia, Mohammad Sajjad Sharifi, Ehsan Souri, Saeid Eskandarzadeh, Milad Hamidi, Seyed Mohammad Hassan Faghihi, Ali Asghar Abareghi, Mohammad Javad Nasiri Moghadam, Amirhossein Zareh, Abolfazl Mirzaei.

Gholamhossein Chaltookkar serves as the head coach, while Mohammadreza Amini, Mansour Pourmirzaei, and Seyed Habibollah Mousavi are the national team coaches overseeing the athletes’ training.

This initiative aims to identify and nurture future champions in para powerlifting, ensuring their readiness for international competitions and bolstering Iran's position in the Para sports.
