Iran’s Para Swimming Teams Train in Babolsar

The Iranian national and U23 Para swimming teams have kicked off an intensive training and selecting camp in Babolsar as they prepare for major upcoming events.

Iran NPC, Tehran:

The second phase of training for national team is focused on the preparation for the 2025 World Championships in Japan, while the youth team is undergoing its third training round ahead of the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games. The training camps are running at Shahid Azimi Training Complex in Babolsar, Mazandaran Province, from February 17, 2025.

Men's National Team Roster

The National para swimming team features athletes including Seyed Erfan Jafari Pakdel, Mohammad Hossein Karimi Jahan Abadi, Amir Hossein Sa’adati Moghadam, Amir Mohammad Farkhondeh Zadeh, and Abolfazl Ghasemi. These elite swimmers are training under the leadership of head coach Hamid Sharifian and assistant coach Mohammad Esmaeil Farahbakhshi.

U-23 Men's Youth National Team

The U-23 Men's Youth National Team, consists of promising young VI swimmers, includes Abolfazl Moradi, Seyed Amir Sobhan Jamshidi Monfared, Amir Ali Golmohammadzadeh, Mohammad Taha Bagheri, Amir Ali Ghasemzadeh, Abolfazl Heidari Jahan, Amir Mohammad Farkhondehzad, Ali Honarvar, Sepehr Houshmandi, Mohammad Ali Kazemi Miraki, Mahdi Goveini Maki Abadi, and Ali Hassanzadeh.

Their training sessions are supervised by head coach Mohammad Hassan Ghadimi, alongside coaches Bahman Shokri, Ahmad Nakhaei, and Ahmad Rastad, who are dedicated to refining their skills and maximizing their performance.

With an intense training schedule, Iran’s Men's National Para Swimming teams are focused on making a strong impact at the 2025 international competitions.
