Iran’s visually impaired (VI) Judokas
have kicked off the second phase of their national training camp in Isfahan
Province as part of their preparation for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para
Games.
A total of 16 Judokas are
participating in the camp under the supervision of head coach Mohammadreza Haji
Yousefzadeh, along with national coaches Hassan Rajabi, Hani Asakereh, Amir
Mousaei, and Hamzeh Nadri. The training sessions will continue until March 7,
2025.

This training camp is organized by
the Iran Sports Federation for the Blind (IRISFB) in collaboration with the
National Paralympic Committee (NPC Iran). It aims to enhance the athletes’
skills and physical readiness ahead of key international competitions,
including the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games and the Los Angeles 2028Paralympic Games.
The 5th Asian Para Games will take
place in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, from October 18 to 26, 2026, bringing together
top para-athletes from across the continent.
