Iran NPC
–Tehran:
A total of eleven men's players have been joined to the national Goalball preparation camp
from today (March 25th), at Babolsar's Shahid Azimi Sports Complex.
Organized by
IRI Sports Federation for the Blind and Visually Impaired in partnership with
the National Paralympic Committee of Iran, the camp aims at preparing the team
for upcoming events including the Asia-Pacific Goalball Championships and the Fifth
Asian Para Games.
This
camp roster, running until April 1st, includes:
Mohammad Parnia,
Mohammad Mahdi Nafisinasab, Alireza Bagheri, Amin Karimi, Alireza Goodarzi,
Amir Mohammad Bahrami, Mohammad Mahdi Zarei, Sajad Rayej Kafshgiri, Mostafa
Sadeghi, Milad Souri, and Nematollah Sarafraz.
The
coaching staff comprises head coach Bahman Dousti Vala, assisted by the national
coaches Alireza Sheibak and Ali Akbar Abrishami, with Mohammad Karam Koulivand
serving as the team analyst.
The IBSA
Goalball Asia & Pacific Championships are scheduled to take place in 2025. Additionally,
the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Para Games will be held in Japan from October 18 to 25,
2026.
