Hadi Rezaei has been named as a candidate for induction into the International
Volleyball Hall of Fame, in 2023.
About Hadi Rezaei
Rezaei is among the 16 nominees for the
2023 International Volleyball Hall of Fame Induction.
As player, captain and head coach,
Hadi Rezaei has been an integral part of IR Iran’s extraordinary four-decade dominance
in men’s sitting volleyball.
Rezaei started playing in 1983,
switching from handball. He captained the national team for 12 years, competing
in three Paralympic Games as a player and six as a coach.
In the nine Games since Seoul 1988,
Iran were Paralympic champions in seven of them.
Through Hadi Rezaei's leadership
Iranian Men's National Sitting Volleyball Team has been achieved eight world
titles and with the last one, Sarajevo 2022 title, Iran qualified for Paris
2024 Paralympics.
