Organized by IRISFD with NPC’s partnership, the 12th training camp of Wheelchair Basketball starts in Tehran.
IRAN NPC- Men’s Wheelchair Basketball players are following the last
stage of their preparations at national camp to attend World Championships.
Organized by IRISFD with NPC’s
partnership, the twelfth training camp of Wheelchair Basketball has been staged
from May 29th to June 5th in Tehran.
Twelve male players, ahead of 2023
IWBF World Championships, are leading by head coach Mohammadreza Dastyar,
coach Behrouz Soltani and fitness coach Yaser Gilaki.
The
players at the camp are as below:
Hakim Mansouri, Vahid Saadatpoormoghadam, Alireza Kamalifar,
Omid Hadi Azhar, Abolfazl Jalaei, Mohsen Tolouei Tamardash, Mohammad Mohammad Nezhad,
Mohsen Bigdeli, Abdoljalil Gharanjik, Amirreza Ahmadi, Amirreza Ahmadi, Mohammadhassn
Sayari.
IWBF World Championships will be held in UAE, Dubia from 9 – 20 June 2023. Iran's Men's squad has been drawn alongside USA, Great Britain and Iraq in Group D of the competitions.
Iran’s Senior Men’s Squad ranked fourth at the previous
Championships in 2018.
The team is also the defending Asian title.
