Iran NPC, Tehran- In the opening day of 2023 Sitting Volleyball Asian Zone Championships, Iranian teams (Women & Men) open their campaign with two convincing wins over their Asian rivals.
In pool A of the women's competition in Court 1, Iran makes a strong start at Asian Zone Championships, today. The squad wins 3-0 with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-13 sweep of S. Korea team.

Kazakhstan on Tuesday July 4th.
Defending champions Iran men, meanwhile, score their first triumph over India in a straight-set affair of 3-0 (25-05, 25-15, 25-11).
Coach Hadi Rezaei’s team, who had their Paris 2024 tickets punched in the 2022 Sarajevo WPV Sitting Volleyball World Championships, returns to the Asian Zonals as the title-holders from the 2019 edition.
Team Melli will play China on Tuesday in Pool B.
The 2023 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Zone Championships in both men's and women's categories is underway in Astana, Kazakhstan from July 3 to 8.
