"The Hopes of Iran" will represent Team Iran at Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
Iran NPC, Tehran- With 96 days to go to Hangzhou Asian Para Games (APG), NPC President Dr. Ghafoor Karegary announced
the slogan and name of Iran's delegation for the Fourth Asian Para
Games.
"The Hopes of Iran", as the name, will represent Team Iran at Hangzhou APG.
Accordingly, Under the slogan of “Faith, Iran, Honour”, I.R. Iran sports delegation will attend at the fourth Asian Para Games.
A total of 212 para athletes will
represent Team Iran at the upcoming APG, including 128 men, 84
women and 66 technical staff.
According to the NPC President's announcement, twelve females have been added
to number of Iran's athletes. (IRI women's para athletes were 72 at 2018 APG)
Depending on individuals and teams progress,
the number of participants is subject to change. The list will be confirmed very soon,
and its final edition will be published.
Hangzhou 2022 will take place from October 22 to 28. An estimated 3,000 athletes will compete across 22 sports.
