According to the draw for the 2023 IBSA World Games, Iran men’s goalball team will play in Group B.
Iran NPC, Tehran- Iran men’s national Goalball team has been drawn alongside the USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Argentina, Greece and Australia in Group B of the 2023 IBSA World Games.
The pools for the Goalball tournaments at the 2023 IBSA World Games have been announced. It was done using World rankings from 30 June 2023.
According to the draw, a total of 27 goalball teams, including 13 women and 14 men, have been assigned to the competition in pools A and B of the Games.
Lithuania, Germany, Japan, Finland, South Korea, Great Britain and Egypt will play in Group A.
Both Goalball men’s and women’s competitions will be taking place at the Coventry Building Society Arena in two halls from August 20 to 27, 2023.
The schedule for the tournaments is also set and, accordingly, Team Iran will kick off the campaign with a match against Ukraine on August 20.
