Iran Blind Football beat Morocco and joined to World Knockout Stage.
Iran NPC, Tehran: In Men’s Blind Football World Championships, Team Iran claimed a spot in
the quarter final as runners up of Group D, on August 20th.
Iran reached the knockout round with four
points from a 1- 0 win over Paralympic bronze medalist Morocco and a 1-1 draw with Mexico, followed by a 1-0 loss to
Brazil.
The Paralympic Champion Brazil leads Group D with six points.

The 2023 IBSA World Games kicked off
with the Football World Championships on 14 August. The prestigious tournament is
already on its way on the Bournbrook pitch of the University of Birmingham.
As the world’s capital of Blind
Sports Birmingham, until 27th August, hosting the 2023 IBSA World Games, where
more than one thousand athletes from 10 different sports will play for the
titles, with three of them – Goalball, Blind Football and Judo – measuring
forces on the Road to Paris 2024.
