With 10 days remaining to Hangzhou APG, Iran NPC President met the national the Goalball and Blind Football teams on Wednesday (11 October).
Iran NPC, Tehran: Approaching to the fourth edition of the Asian Para Games, National Paralympic Committee President Dr. Ghafoor Karegary today welcomed by Iran Sports Federation for the Blind's President Mohammadreza Mazloumi, as he visited the final training sessions of Women’s Goalball and Men's Blind Football.
During the visit, President Karegary, accompanied by NPC Sports Deputy Saeid Solgi, and they were given a detailed explanation of both teams' progress.
NPC President thanked the National Federation's officials, teams' technical staff and Para athletes for their efforts and committment to the success of the Team Iran at the Games.
Iran Women’s Goalball squad stood the third place at Jakarta 2018 Asian Para Games.
Blind Football makes a welcome return to the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou having last featured in 2014. At the Incheon 2014 APG, Team Iran won the title.
