Iranian wheelchair basketball players achieved the 2023 Asian Best Team Performance Award by AsPC.
Iran NPC, Tehran: Standing on the World's podium as the first Asian nation at Dubai IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships this year, Iran's men have been awarded the 'Best Team Performance' title by the Asian Paralympic Committee (AsPC).
With a remarkable display, Team Iran had won its first ever world bronze medal at the 2023 Dubai IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships.
China’s wheelchair curling and wheelchair tennis of South Korea were among the team nominees.
The prize was awarded at a ceremony which took place on the Saturday night, in sideline of the AsPC’s General Assembly and Executive in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Iran National Paralympic Committee President Dr. Ghafoor Karegary received the reward, during his stay for the GA meeting.

Mohammadreza Haji Yousefzadeh (VI Judo Head Coach)
