Iran's Para Canoe team kicks off new round of preparation for Paris 2024 on Monday.
Iran NPC, Tehran- After achieving a bronze medal and three Paris 2024 Games spots at Szeged ICF Paracanoe World Championships, Team Iran follows its preparation programme for the upcoming Summer Paralympic Games in Tehran, from this morning (27 May).
Training sessions will be continued at Azadi Sport Complex's Lack until June 18th, under the lead of coach Ahmadreza Talebian.
As Iran Canoeing-Rowing
& Sailing Federation (ICRSF) reports, the team roster includes:
Saeid Hosseinpour, Eslam Jahedi and Shahla Behrouzirad.
Iranian athletes secured three Paris Paralympic quota places for the country, in both women’s and men’s divisions of the 2024 ICF Paracanoe World Championships, held in Szeged, Hungary from May 9 to 11.
