The debutant Zahra Rahimi claimed a silver medal in Iran's Paralympics history in women’s Taekwondo, on Thursday night at Paris Grand Palais.

Para Taekwondoin Zahra Rahimi finished in runner-up in women’s - 52kg final at Grand Palais on Thursday night (8 Aug) and becomes the first Iranian athlete to achieve a medal at Paris 2024.
Iran's youngest Paralympian in Paris Zahra Rahimi, at the age of 15, also made Paralympic for Team Iran's female Para Taekwondoins.
The other Iran's female Para Taekwondoin Marayam Abdullahpour finished fourth in women’s -47Kg at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
