Iran NPC, Tehran:
The voting for the Iran National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Athletes’ Commission Election officially opened this morning, January 20, 2025.
Voting is being conducted online, allowing 248 eligible athlete representatives to cast their ballots conveniently. All voters have received instructions via the NPC's official website and social media channels. The voting period closes at 11:59 p.m. local time tonight.
The 11 candidates with the highest
number of votes will be elected as the National Paralympic Committee's Team
Iran Athletes’ Commission Representatives, with the two next-ranked candidates
serving as the Alternate Representatives.
Appointed by the NPC, one
representative from the IPC or AsPC Athletes’ Council will be added to the
newly elected Commission.
The elected members will play a crucial role as a bridge between Iran's Para athletes and the National Paralympic Committee, ensuring that athletes' voices are heard and included in key decisions.
