Zahra Rahimi’s Gratitude Outshines the Podium.

Iran NPC, Tehran:
Iran’s Paralympic silver medalist Zahra Rahimi showed her deep appreciation for her father’s unwavering support by surprising him with a Volvo truck—bought with the cash awards and bonuses she received for her historic victory.
At just 15, Rahimi became the youngest member of Iran’s delegation at Paris 2024 and made history by winning the country’s first-ever Paralympic medal in women’s Taekwondo.
“I owe this success to my parents, who have always encouraged me. This is the least I could do to thank them,” said Rahimi, whose silver medal is a milestone for Iran’s Paralympic Taekwondo.
Rahimi’s remarkable achievement not only marks a milestone in Iran’s Paralympic history but also exemplifies the power of gratitude and determination.
