Winning IPC's 2025 Intl. Women’s Day Award ignites a sense of national pride and joy

Dr. Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf congratulated NPC Iran on winning IPC's 2025 International Women’s Day Award on Sunday.

 

Iran NPC, Tehran:

In a message on Sunday (9 March) Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf congratulated National Paralympic Committee (NPC Iran) on winning the International Paralympic Committee's 2025 Intl. Women’s Day Recognition Award.

Reflecting on the significance of the award, Ghalibaf described this "Prideful Achievement" as a testament to the capability, growth, and strong presence of Iranian Female Paralympians in sports.

 

"We’re deeply proud of and beyond grateful for the efforts you've done, and I would like to offer my congratulations to our Female Para Athletes, NPC Iran and all those who prepared the ground for their success on receiving the IPC's 2025 International Women’s Day Award."

"Winning this award has ignited a sense of national pride and joy. It is deeply moving for us to witness women's achievements and honors. I wish you all the ongoing success and happiness in your future endeavors," he said.

 

The IPC's 2025 International Women’s Day Award -in member category- dedicated to NPC Iran (on 8 March) for its outstanding work and effort in promoting girl's and women's Paralympic Sports.
