Day 5- Iran's 2020 Paralympic champion Mahdi Olad topped the podium in Paris'23, this evening.
 
Iran NPC, Tehran- On Day five of Paris 2023 Championships, shot putter Mahdi Olad won the world title at Charlety Stadium among the14-athlete field.
During the evening session of competitions, Iranian paralympic title holder with a 13.79m golden throw crowned men's F11 world champion, in his second attempt, ahead of silver medallist Alessandro Da Silva of Brazil (13.43).
Spanish Alvaro del Amo Cano (12.81) finished in the third.

In Women’s F53 Disc Throw Iran's Elnaz Darabian also stood fourth place of World Championships on Wednesday 12 July. 

The Tenth Edition of Paris Para Athletics World Championships is taking place between 8 and 17 July 2023 serves as the qualifier for next year’s Paralympic Games.
