Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: Men’s Para Taekwondo
Iran NPC, Tehran: Four Para Taekwondoins are to make their debut at
the Fourth Asian Para Games and to represent Team Iran in Hangzhou Men’s event.
The Games will feature 22 sports which
are split into many events, including Para Taekwondo which is added to the APG programme in Hangzhou, for the first time.
The official women’s roster for the
Fourth Asian Para Games reads as follows:
Saeid Sadeghianpour, Mahdi
Pourrahnama, Hamed Haghshenas and Alireza Bakht
Technical Staff
Men’s team will be led by Head Coach
Payam Khanlarkhani, joined by coach Ali Karimi Saber. The President of Iran
National Taekwondo Federation Hadi Saei will accompany the Para athletes and
technical staff as the Team Manager.
The squad has recently finished as the runner-up at
the 2023 European Para-Taekwondo Championship in Montargis, France.
