Team Iran collected one gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Day 3 on Saturday 31 Aug.

Sareh Javanmardi claimed a gold medal in the P2 – Women’s 10m air pistol SH1. It was Iran’s first gold medal in the 2024 Paralympic Games.
Javanmardi’s has won five medals in four Paralympics. She had won a bronze medal in 2012 London in the 10m air pistol SH1 and two gold medals in Rio 2016 in the mixed 50m pistol SH1 and 10m air pistol SH1. She also claimed a gold medal in the 10m air pistol SH1 in 2020 Tokyo.
Fatemeh Hemmati won a silver medal in the Women's Individual Compound Open, losing to Turkey’s Öznur Cüre Girdi 144-141 in the final match.
Taekwondo athletes Alireza Bakht and Hamed Haghshenas won two bronze medals.
Bakht defeated Nikola Spajić of Serbia 29-6 in the K44 -80kg bronze medal match and Haghshenas defeated Kazakhstan’s Nyshan Omirali 16-14 to win the second bronze.
Goalball team were held to a 7-7 draw by Brazil in Pool A.
And Amanollah Papi came fourth in the Men's Javelin Throw - F57.
