Iran NPC, Tehran:
A total of 14 men's players are to join the
third round of national Wheelchair Basketball training and selection camp
in Tehran from October 4, 2024.
The shortlisted players for the camp
are as follows:
Amir Mohammad Keleydari, Foad
Mozaffari Afkham, Elyas Morteza Moghadam, Mohammad Taha Yarmohammadi, Amir
Mahdi Yousefi, Amirreza Moradi, Abolfazl Jalaei, Amir Mahdi Mehrabi, Heydarali
Vaez, Amirhossein Baba, Abolfazl Kouhpeyma, Abolfazl Badiei, Reza Niksirat,
Yasin Aghili.
Training sessions will be under the
lead of head coach Behrouz Soltani, assisted by the coaches Adel Torfi and Gholamreza
Nami. Mahdi Shokravi accompanies the squad
as H & C coach until October 14th.
Organized by Iran Sports Federation
for the Enabled in partnership with National Paralympic Committee, the camp
aims at the preparing the squad for the 2024 Asia Oceania Championship.
The IWBF Asia Oceania Zone will host
their Zonal Championship the 2024 Asia Oceania Championship in Bangkok,
Thailand between 12 – 20 January 2024.
