Iran NPC, Tehran:
In a significant step towards
advancing inclusivity in sports, Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth has taken
the helm of the Supreme Council for the National Paralympic Movement.
This unprecedented move is
expected to channel greater resources and attention towards Paralympic
athletes, who have long been at the forefront of Iran's international sporting
achievements.
The NPC President Ghafoor Karegary,
who chaired the 24th General Assembly of National Paralympic Committee,
presented a commemorative plaque to Dr. Donyamali on behalf of the assembly,
expressing gratitude for his acceptance of this significant leadership role.
The Commission aligns with the
mission of the National Paralympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran to
strategically advance the national Paralympic movement across the country and
fulfill the vision of "Sports for All."
The "Supreme Council for the
Development of Iran Paralympic Movement" is dedicated to achieving key
objectives, including enhancing the quality of life for individuals with
disabilities through sports, raising public awareness toward Para sports, and
showcasing the incredible accomplishments of athletes with disabilities.
