Diana Krumina of Latvia, bronze medallist in Tokyo, set a new world record with her 25.8 meters throw and took the lead.
Brazilian Raissa Rocha also repeat her paralympic runner up title in Paris World Championships, improving Tokyo record with 23.05m.
The 10th edition of 2023 Para Athletics World Championships is underway in Paris from July 8 to 17.
