Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: National Para Canoe
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of six Para athletes will head into Hangzhou for representing
Team Iran as its debutants Para Canoeists at the Fourth Asian Para Games.
Iran Para Canoeists are to race at their
first ever Asian Para Games in Hangzhou’s Fuyang Water Sports Center between
October 23 to 24, 2023.
The official roster for Hangzhou APG
reads as follows:
Women’s division

Masood Gheisari, Saeid Hosseinpour, Eslam

Technical Staff
The team will be under the lead of
Brazilian Head Coach Pedro Sena, assisted by National Coaches Mohsen Milad and
Saba Rahmati.
The President of I.R. Iran Canoeing-Rowing
& Sailing Federation (ICRSF) Alireza Sohrabian will also accompany the Para
athletes and technical staff as the Team Manager.
The Fourth Asian Para Games will take place in
Hangzhou, China, between October 22 to 28, 2023.
The Games will feature 22 sports
which are split into many events, including Para Canoe and Para Taekwondo which
are added to the APG programme in Hangzhou, for the first time.
