Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: Para Archery
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of 11 Iranian para-archers are expected to
make a mark in Recurve, Compound and W1 events of Hangzhou Asian Para Games from
October 23 to 28 2023.
National Para Archery Team leaves Tehran for Shanghai tonight.
133 archers from 23 nations will be vying for glory over six days with 15 gold medals will be at stake at the Fuyang Shooting and Archery range in Hangzhou.
The official roster for Hangzhou APG
reads as follows:
Asghar Zareeinejad, Mohammadreza Arab Ameri, Alisina
Manshaezadeh, Ramezan Biabani, Farzaneh Asgari, Maryam Yavarpour, Hadi Nouri,
Gholamreza Rahimi, Somayeh Rahimi, Mohammadreza Zandi and Zahra Nemati.
Technical Staff
The squad will be under the lead of
head coach Majid Kehtari and coaches Jebraeil Ebadi, Leila Sakhaeifar and Zahra
Shams.
I.R. Iran National Archery Federation
President Gholamreza Shabanibahar will also accompany them as the Team
Manager.
National Para Archery team has recently won a total of
three medals (1 silver, 2 bronze) and six Paralympic quota places for Team Iran
at Pilsen 2023 World Championships.
The Asian Para Games open on 22nd
October and run until the 28th.
