Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: Men's Wheelchair Basketball
Iran NPC, Tehran: Once again,
the onus will be on defending champions of Iran Men to reign supreme when
Hangzhou Asian Para Games gets underway on October 19.
A total of 12
men’s Wheelchair Basketball players will head into the Fourth Asian Para Games to
fight it out for the top honours over all eight days at Hangzhou Olympic Sports
Centre Gymnasium.
Iran's Men
produced a historic show after clinching their first ever World Championships
medal—a bronze medal after they pulled off a 72-54 win over the Netherlands in
Dubai 2023.

Alireza Kamalifar, Omid Hadi Azhar, Aboulfazl Jalaei, Mohsen Tolouei, Mohammad

Hassan Sayari, Morteza Abedi, Mahdi Abasi.
Technical Staff
Head Coach Mohammadreza Dastyar will
conduct the squad at the event, who will be assisted by the Coach Behrouz
Soltani and S&C Coach Yaser Gilaki.
Amir Mandegarfard will also
accompany them as Team Manager.
The Senior Men’s
National Team will be the defending Para Asian title.
