Paris 2024 Paralympics | Iran's Saeid Afrooz rings the bell at the Stade de France
Iran's Saeid Afrooz threw a distance of 41.16m in Men's javelin throw F34 to win a his second Paralympic title at the Stade de France, today 4 Sep.
Iran NPC, Tehran:
In day 7 of the Paris 2024, Iran's Defending Paralympic champion Saeid Afrooz retained his javelin F34 title with a best throw of 41.16m.

The 33-year old javelin thrower smashed the World and Paralympic record to ring the bell situated at the edge of the running track in Stade de France.

 

Colombia’s Maurico Valencia stood second place, with his compatriot Diego Fernando Meneses Medina taking the bronze in third.

Team Iran has already collected 12 Paralympic medals at Paris 2024, including two golds, seven silvers and three bronzes.
