Paris 2024 Paralympics| Team Iran's Highlights from Day 7
Team Iran won a gold and a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Day 7 on Wednesday Sept. 4

 

Iran NPC, Paris:

Sareh Javanmardi qualified for final round of the P4 - Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 but failed to win a medal.

Javanmardi also announced her retirement from the sport at the end of the competition.

Her compatriot Mohammadreza Mirshafiei was knocked out of the P4 - Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 in the first round.

Saeid Afrooz won a gold medal in the Men’s Javelin Throw – F34 with 41.16 and also set a new world and Paralympic record.

Mohmmadreza Arab Ameri seized a bronze medal in the Men’s Individual Recurve after beating his Australian opponent Smith Kenton 6-0. His countryman Gholamreza Rahimi was defeated against Indonesian archer Setiawan 6-4 in the 1/16 round.
