Paris 2024 Paralympics| Team Iran's Highlights from Day 9
Team Iran won three gold medals at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Day 9 on Friday Sept. 6.

 

Iran NPC, Paris:

Rouhollah Rostami won the second consecutive Paralympic gold and broke the WR on the way with a 242kg lift.

Sitting volleyball claimed their eighth gold medal in the Paralympics, beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 (20-25, 30-28, 25-16, 25-14). Iran earned three wins over Ukraine, Brazil and Germany in Pool B and then defeated Egypt 3-1 to book their place in the final match of the 2024 Paralympics.

Yasin Khosravi won Iran’s sixth gold medal in the men’s shot put- F57 of the 2024 Paralympic Games. He came first with 15.96 meters and also broke the Paralympics record. He came first with 15.96 meters and also broke the Paralympics record.

Saeid Hosseinpour advanced to the final round of the Men’s Kayak Single 200m - KL1. Shahla Behrouzi Rad also booked her place in the final round of the Women’s Kayak Single 200m - KL3.

Erfan Bondori finished in fifth place in the Men’s Javelin Throw – F54 and Hajar Safarzadeh qualified for the final round of the Women’s 200m T12.
