Team Iran at the Fourth Asian Para Games: National Para Cycling
Iran NPC, Tehran: A total of four Para Cyclists, including PI and VI
riders, will head into Hangzhou for representing Team Iran at the Fourth Asian
Para Games.
Para Track riders are to race at Hangzhou’s
Chun’an Jieshou Sports Center Velodrome (Oct. 23 to 25), and the Road riders
also to compete between October 26 to 27, 2023.
The official roster for Hangzhou APG
reads as follows:
Mohammad Dalir Heidarabadi (B), Reza
Rashno (as Sighted Pilot), Mahdi Mohammadi (C5) and Behrouz Farzad.
The riders will be under the lead
of Head Coach Farhad Osfouri and Coach Alireza Makvandi, as Iran's Technical Staff.
The President of I.R. Iran Cycling Federation
Rasoul Hashemkandi Assadi will
also accompany the Para athletes and technical staff as the Team Manager.
Iran squad seized one cycling bronze
medal at 2018 Asian Para Games.
The Fourth Asian Para Games will take
place in Hangzhou, China, between October 22 to 28, 2023.
